Concrete Repair & Restoration
Fix damaged concrete and restore surfaces to like-new condition.

Bring Your Damaged Concrete Back to Life
Cracks, spalling, uneven settling, and surface damage do not mean you need to replace your entire driveway, patio, or walkway. In many cases, professional repair and restoration can fix the problem at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
At JobDone Quincy Concrete Works, we evaluate concrete damage and recommend the right repair method for your situation. Sometimes a simple fix is all you need. Other times, partial replacement makes more sense. We give you honest answers so you can make the best decision for your property and budget.
Common Concrete Problems We Fix
Concrete damage happens for many reasons including poor installation, settling soil, freeze-thaw cycles, and normal wear over time. Here are the issues we see most often:
- •Cracks: From hairline surface cracks to wide structural cracks that need immediate attention.
- •Spalling and Flaking: Surface damage where the concrete is peeling, flaking, or breaking apart.
- •Settling and Sinking: Sections of concrete that have dropped or tilted due to soil erosion or poor base preparation.
- •Pitting and Scaling: Small holes and rough surfaces caused by salt damage or poor finishing.
- •Discoloration and Stains: Oil stains, rust marks, and color inconsistencies that detract from appearance.
Our Concrete Repair Methods
The right repair method depends on the type and extent of damage. We use proven techniques that provide lasting results:
Crack Repair and Sealing
For minor cracks, we clean out the damaged area, apply bonding agents, and fill the crack with flexible repair compounds that move with the concrete. This prevents water infiltration and stops the crack from growing. Larger structural cracks may need epoxy injection or stitching with steel dowels.
Slab Leveling and Mudjacking
When concrete settles unevenly, we can often lift it back to the correct level by pumping a specialized mixture under the slab. This process, called mudjacking or slabjacking, costs much less than replacement and takes only a few hours.
Surface Restoration and Resurfacing
For spalled or pitted surfaces, we apply a fresh concrete overlay that bonds to the existing surface. This restores the appearance and adds years of life to your concrete. We can also add decorative finishes to improve the look of old, plain concrete.
Partial Replacement
When damage is too severe to repair, we can remove and replace just the damaged sections. This saves money compared to replacing the entire surface and gets you back to a fully functional driveway, walkway, or patio quickly.
Should You Repair or Replace?
This is the question every homeowner asks when concrete starts showing damage. As a general rule, repair makes sense when damage affects less than 30 percent of the surface and the remaining concrete is still structurally sound. Replacement makes more sense when multiple large areas are damaged, the concrete is very old and deteriorating throughout, or the base underneath has failed.
We evaluate your concrete and give you honest recommendations. Sometimes repair extends the life of your concrete by 10 or 15 years, making it the smart financial choice. Other times, replacement gives you a better long-term solution. Whether you need repairs or a completely new driveway, patio, or walkway, we help you make the right decision.
